The Daily News Record: Local News: "HARRISONBURG — Five individuals and organizations were honored for their philanthropic activities Monday. The Shenandoah Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals recognized Wes and Glenna Graves, the Daily News-Record, Kathleen Gardner, Rich and Jane Smith and Jeffrey Schleifer for “exceptional civic and charitable responsibility.” Wes and Glenna Graves, who received the individual philanthropist award, have been involved with a variety of projects, including Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Massanutten Regional Library and the Community Services Board."
