Givers show you can make a difference in community
President John F. Kennedy once said: 'One person can make a difference and every person should try.'
The annual awards given by the Rockford Area Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals demonstrate how strongly both concepts contained in that statement are embraced in the Rock River Valley.
As always, this year's awards were given to people who used their time, talent and resources to help the community. In doing so, and by providing leadership and a shining example, these individuals inspire others "
