Jean Jones, Midland College, Al Vogel and family among honorees
In order for philanthropy efforts to be effective, communities must take an honest look at what is really happening with them, independent consultant Michael Patton said Thursday.
'Philanthropy is the love of human kind, but the definition goes even further than that. The love of humankind must manifest in good works,' Patton said.
Patton was the keynote speaker at a National Philanthropy Day luncheon honoring Permian Basin area organizations and individuals."
