JOHNSON CITY — Greene County took three awards out of six categories Wednesday as the Mountain Empire Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) celebrated “Philanthropy Day.”

The Noon Rotary Club of Greeneville was recognized as the 2005 Outstanding Philanthropic Organization, and Barbara H. Lawson and Sandra M. Ricker were each separately recognized as 2005 Outstanding Volunteers."
