A Social Scene story on Page G-6 of Sunday's edition contained incorrect information. The 17th annual Volunteer Awards Luncheon, which honored 35 people from 31 organizations, was hosted by the North County Philanthropy Council. Also in the same story several affiliations were incorrect: Christy Wilson is executive director of the Rancho Santa Fe Foundation, Laurie Brindle is president of the North County Philanthropy Council and Holly Malan, whose name was spelled incorrectly, is a member of the North County Philanthropy Council and represented the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego. A corrected version of the story will run in this Sunday's Social Scene.
The Association of Fundraising Professionals is a separate organization, which hosted an event Nov. 9 in San Diego that included a tribute to Joan Kroc and Helen K. Copley.
