Couple leads charge to fund community center | Amarillo Globe-News: The Pearsons, Perryton natives who now live in Spearman, have kept alive that tradition of giving, most recently leading the charge to raise $1.2 million to build the O’Loughlin Center, a community center in Spearman.

The couple will be recognized as the area’s outstanding philanthropists for 2012 at the National Philanthropy Day luncheon, set for Thursday and hosted by the Texas Plains Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
