Do Good Detroit: National Philanthropy Day observed November 17 | Detroit Free Press | freep.com: Every November, National Philanthropy Day is observed by Association of Fundraising Professionals Chapters across the country to recognize people active in the philanthropic community. The Greater Detroit Chapter will hold its 20th Annual National Philanthropy Day Dinner on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center. The event is hosted by Henry Ford Health System and presented by Crain’s Detroit Business.
