Philanthropists, Volunteers and Fundraisers Honored | delawareonline | The News Journal: "The Association of Fundraising Professionals Delaware Brandywine Chapter (AFP) awarded its 2008 Philanthropy Day Awards during the chapter’s annual Philanthropy Day held November 13th at the Deerfield Golf and Country Club. Outstanding Philanthropist Award winners were Cynthia Primo Martin and Reverend Thomas C. Short. Honored for her Volunteer Service was Betty Garrett and a New Face in Philanthropy was Christopher Grundner. Youth in Philanthropy winners included: Kathryn Cunningham of Chadds Ford, Annie Rose Baum of Newark and Garrett Browne Lyons III of Greenville. Receiving the Outstanding Fundraising Executive of the Year was Michele LeFever Quinn of Brandywine Hundred and Rising Star of the year was Stephanie Ferrell of Wilmington."
