This year, Bandera County will celebrate National Philanthropy Day (NPD) at a luncheon on Tuesday, Nov. 15. The luncheon, catered by Herrera's Restaurant y Cantina, will begin at noon at the Lost Valley Resort on Hwy. 16.

'Honoring those who give to help others' is the theme of this year's celebration of philanthropy.

Nov. 15 was chosen 20 years ago as the day for communities in the United States to recognize the contributions that philanthropy has made in our lives, our communities, our nation and our world. The Bandera Regional Community Foundation (BRCF) is sponsoring the Nov. 15 observance of National Philanthropy Day."
