National Philanthropy Day, Nov. 15, celebrates benevolence in our community - Where Giving and Community Connect: Thousands of San Antonio’s citizens perform countless acts of benevolence each year in service to our community. National Philanthropy Day, celebrated each November by the San Antonio Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, attempts to thank and recognize all people in our community who selflessly give their time, talent and financial support to help others. They embody the essence of National Philanthropy Day: Change the World with a Giving Heart.
