University of Kentucky News -- news.uky.edu: "LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 19, 2008) – As the holiday season draws near, the University of Kentucky joins organizations throughout the community to honor those who give their time, talents, and resources to help others.
Several donors were honored by UK during the Bluegrass Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals's (AFP) National Philanthropy Day luncheon in Lexington on Nov. 18.
UK, along with various colleges, programs, and groups affiliated with the university, were among the 30 not-for-profit agencies which each selected an outstanding volunteer or patron to honor at the celebration."
