Banking industry titan Hugh McColl Jr. admitted that early on in his 42-year finance career he felt that charitable giving was something 'imposed on me.'
He's since changed his tune.
'I never regretted a dollar I gave away, and I wish I could have given more away,' McColl said Wednesday.
The retired chairman and chief executive of Bank of America Corp. urged companies to give not just to polish their image, but because it's their duty."
