The Alabama chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals will celebrate 23 years of honoring individuals, businesses and organizations for their commitment to helping others when the organization marks National Philanthropy Day in November.

New to the Alabama chapter's accolades for 2005 will be the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham Outstanding Professional Adviser Award."
