Business - StatesmanJournal.com: "The Silverton Hospital Auxiliary has been honored as the Outstanding Volunteer Group in the 2004 Philanthropy Awards, sponsored by the Oregon Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Silverton Mayor Ken Hector will present the award to auxiliary President Margaret Yochem at a luncheon Dec. 1 in Portland.
In the past 10 years, the auxiliary has contributed more than $325,000 to the hospital."
