Association of Fundraising Professionals - Washington - Honors Philanthropists: "Seattle, WA (OPENPRESS) September 25, 2007 -- The Association of Fundraising Professionals – Washington Chapter will hold its 19th annual National Philanthropy Day luncheon on Nov. 16 to recognize key donors to the community and celebrate the benefits of donors, advisors, and nonprofit organizations working together to improve lives. The luncheon, “Better Together: Improving Communities Through Philanthropy,' will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center, 800 Convention Place, Seattle. This year’s theme recognizes the power donors, advisors, and non-profit organizations have in strengthening their communities by donating their dollars, time and talent. National Philanthropy Day honors and supports the efforts and passions of philanthropic leaders and the organizations that they serve. Community leaders, non-profit organizations, volunteers, and donors from across Washington State will join together to honor this year’s outstanding awardees who have invested their passion, time, talents, and financial support to better their community. Seven individuals and organizations will be recognized for their philanthropic work."
