The Awards Luncheon is a part of our National Philanthropy Day celebration and will be held Friday, November 30, 2007 at noon at the Hyatt Regency Wichita. You are invited to submit nominations for the following Philanthropy Day award categories:

• Outstanding Philanthropist

• Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser

•Outstanding Fundraising Executive

• Outstanding Corporation

• Outstanding Foundation

Criteria for Nominations

AFP Outstanding Philanthropist Award - This award is presented to an individual or family with a proven record of exceptional generosity who, through direct financial support, has demonstrated outstanding civic and charitable responsibility, and whose generosity encourages others to take philanthropic leadership roles on a community, national and/or international level. Your nomination should include the following information with specific examples: Evidence of direct gift support indicated by support of projects in the community, nationally and/or internationally. Description of impact of gift support. Evidence of encouragement and motivation given to others to take leadership roles toward philanthropy and community involvement. Description of specific achievements accomplished on behalf of a nonprofit organization. Evidence of philanthropic support of innovative approaches to solving problems"
